Storage Buckets

A bucket is a place to keep files: images, PDFs, uploads from your users, exports, backups, or anything else your application needs to store. You create buckets in the Kuberns dashboard, and you can reach them from your own code with a credential.

  • Every file is private by default. You choose which files to share.
  • Share a file with a link that works in any browser, either a permanent link for a public file or a temporary link for a private one.
  • Upload and download from the dashboard, or from your application with a plain HTTP request. There is no SDK to install and no AWS account to set up.

Who can use buckets

Storage Buckets are available on paid accounts. Accounts on the free trial cannot create buckets.

To create your first bucket, at least one of your services must be running. This keeps storage tied to accounts that are actually deploying something. Once you have a bucket, you can create more, and stopping your services later does not affect the buckets you already have.

Limits

Total storage No cap
Buckets per account 50
File size in the dashboard 1 GB per file
Credentials per account 5
Region Mumbai (ap-south-1)

Pricing

Storage costs $0.50 per GB per month, charged from your credits. You pay for what you store, hour by hour, and downloads are not billed separately. See Pricing and billing for how the charge is calculated and what happens if your credits run out.
